I was surprised at how many features this little frame had.

If you just move the pics into it, it will work nicely with a slide show and midi type background music.

I easily created a 10 min video (with my mp3 music of choice) by using the included software (did not even look at the manual).

The wooden frame looked good (not too cheap or too presumptuous).

The clock on the left side uses 1 “AA” battery and the frame easily connects to the wall.

If I could ask Coby to improve anything it would be the length of the AC cord just in case it was to go on a higher shelf.

We bought it as a gift for a relative that lives outside the US and loaded it with family pictures for their nostalgic pleasure while we are gone ^_^

It was the perfect gift for the occasion and I greatly recommend it!!!

I’ve been researching digital frames for weeks leading to Christmas and wanted to find an easy-to-use frame that fits my parent’s decor.

    REASONS TO BUY:

Ease of use – The frame, like most other current frames, has great ‘plug&play’ feature. I loaded some pictures and music to a sd card, inserted and turned on the unit which automatically started playing a slide show with music background. There are many more options like a calender view with slide show, internal memory for saving more pics or videos. The best part for my mom will be the ease of loading the card from her camera to the frame.

Design – Most frames on the market feature a more modern design. Honestly, unless you have a new house and new furniture designs, the black frames are great. However, for a lot of older couples, matching a sleek, black frame to country-style decor is a tough sale. The wood grain and clock design are great for a more down-to-earth home setting. And because the unit requires an wired adapter for power, it can be set on a shelf or table with minimal distraction of a cord.

Function – The frame delivers exactly what in promises in terms of resolution. I changed some setting (contrast, brightness, etc) and also set to the frame to not adjust picture sizing. Pictures were clear and bright within the initial resolution each was original taken – some pictures at lower resolution were initially taken at a lower resolution so I can’t blame the frame.

    NEGATIVES

The only negatives I have found after testing the unit are somewhat unfriendly user interface. With the remote, this problem can be solved versus trying to change setting with the buttons on the back of the frame which can be tricky.

If desired, changing music and picture files can be easier done on the computer not the frame by accessing a memory card. Updating titles and information is much easily done on a computer than trying to manipulate the frame interface.

OVERALL – For the price, design and features this frame delivers exactly what I was looking for. No bells and whistles, a beautiful frame which can be easily setup and used by everyone.
